Homemade Pizza Sauce
6 ounces (170g) tomato paste
15 ounces (430g) tomato passata
1 tablespoon dry oregano
2 tablespoons mixed dry italian herbs
1/2 teaspoon onion powder
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 tablespoon salt
1 teaspoon sugar
freshly ground pepper
Mix all ingredients very well, and let stand for 1 hour for flavors to infuse
It doesn't get any easier than that!
Refrigerate in an airtight container for up to one week. Make sure you bring the sauce to room temperature before using
Freeze in a airtight container for up to two months
