Dutch Baby
3 eggs, room temperature
1/2 cup (100g) flour
1/2 cup (120ml) milk, room temperature
1 tablespoon (19g) sugar
pinch of nutmeg
3 tablespoons (43g) butter
syrup, fruits, confectioner's sugar or cinnamon sugar
It is important to have eggs and milk at room temperature!
1. preheat oven to 425°F (220°C)
2. combine eggs, flour, milk, sugar, and nutmeg in a blender. Blend until batter is smooth
3. place butter in a cast iron pan, and place it in oven. Once the butter has melted, pour the batter to the pan, and return to oven. Bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown
Enjoy warm or at room temperature with maple syrup, fruits, confectioners sugar or cinnamon sugar
