Air Fryer Churros
1 cup (240ml) water
1/3 cup (75g) butter
2 tablespoons (25g) sugar
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 cup (120g) flour
2 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
oil spray
1. put a silicone baking mat on a baking sheet and spray with oil
2. add water, butter, sugar and salt to a saucepan and bring to a boil
3. reduce heat, add flour and stir constantly with a rubber spatula until the dough is smooth. Transfer to a mixing bowl and allow to cool slightly
4. whisk eggs and vanilla together, add to dough and mix everything well
5. transfer dough to a piping bag fitted with a star shaped tip. Pipe churros onto greased baking mat. Refrigerate for 1 hour
6. place churros in air fryer basket with the help of a flat spatula. Spray with oil. Fry at 350°F (180°C) for 10-12 minutes
7. immediately toss churros with a sugar-cinnamon mixture until well coated
