Chocolate Chip Cookies
1 1/4 cups + 2 tablespoons cups (300g) salted butter
1 cup (160g) light brown sugar
3/4 cup (160g) granulated sugar
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
2 large eggs
3 3/4 cups (450g) plain flour
1 teaspoon bicarbonate of soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
2.5 cups (400g) chocolate chips
1. beat the butter and sugars until fluffy
2. beat in vanilla and eggs
3. mix flour, bicarbonate and salt and add to butter mixture
4. add chocolate chips and stir well
5. spoon mixture to baking sheet and bake for 10min at 375°F (190°C).
6. place on a cooling rack
You can sprinkle the cookies before baking with kosher salt. Tastes great!
