Cherry Clafoutis
3 cups (420g) pitted cherries
1 1/4 cups (296ml) whole milk
3 large eggs
1/2 cup (68g) flour
2/3 cup (150g) sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 teaspoon salt
1. preheat oven to 350°F (180°C), and place an 11" (28cm) ovenproof pan inside
2. mix eggs, flour, sugar, vanilla extract and salt in a food blender for 1 minute
3. remove hot pan from oven and grease bottom with butter. Pour 1/3 of batter in pan, top with cherries, them add rest of batter
4. bake for 45 min or until batter is set and top is nicely browned. Sprinkle with confectioners sugar before serving. Serve warm
